How do you suggest those of us with trouble breathing due to lung removal avoid wearing a mask? I have a rare form of lung cancer (no, I never smoked) and when I attempt to go out in public to get groceries, conduct business and don't wear a mask I am threatened by "Karen's" who think they are the community police. I have a right to conduct my business without being threatened and intimidated by these people. It is sad that between the CDC and the good "Dr" F, mixed messages are being given on an almost daily basis. "Dr" F even removes his mask as soon as he thinks the cameras are off....
Karen here. The problem isn't you not wearing a mask. The problem is all the people who can, who should, and who don't! When not wearing a mask becomes the exception instead of the rule, things will improve for everyone.
Frankly I am tired of others putting me and mine at risk because of whatever lame excuse-of-the-day they come up with to avoid what is a minor convenience.
As a cancer survivor myself, I'd say you are being out in a really tough position and should be as concerned as I am about all those who think they don't need to care about others.
